This camera was not the cheaper I could find, the image quality is good and the microphone works great, it is really a pain to make it stay on the top of the monitors, the three legs that supposed to hold it don't really work as great.

It works. It's kinda blurry and pixely, but not close to as bad as the cheap ones out there. For being a mid-range webcam, it works. Get it if you want something good, but not something great that costs a lot more.

Clip doesnt hang well on my Notebook but then thats not a camera inablity....so i will rate it as 5 star.

I have had my camera for over 2 years and it still works great. The image quality is good and frame rate is adequate. I use it primarily for video conferencing on msn messenger with friends and family abroad. Seeing the person adds another dimension to the conversation, makes it more personal. Installation is simple, you don't need the cd as windows xp recognizes it. Now for the flaw, the stand. The stand folds to sit in 3 locations: open to sit on top of the monitor and point down, folded to sit on the table top and point up, and semi folded to sit on the screen of a laptop or lcd monitor. Although versatile the stand doesn't provide enough stability, it topples over easily as the head and cord coming from it are too heavy for the relatively narrow base. Creative should have made the base wider.
Overall a great camera but needs more stability.
